The MFC-3220C multi-function center (MFC) is suitable for your home or home office, with color inkjet printing (up to 12 ppm color, 14 ppm black), copying, faxing, and scanning. It prints at a maximum resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi and copies at a resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (maximum). You can reduce or increase your copies by up to 400% and make up to 99 consecutive copies. Color scanning at up to 2,400 dpi (interpolated) and 600 x 1,200 dpi (optical) is possible, with scan speeds of nine seconds color and four seconds black. The maximum scanning resolution in Windows XP is 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (interpolated). The 8 MB memory of the MFC-3220C stores up to 200 pages, allowing you to scan your next fax while sending or receiving others. Manual, one-touch, and speed dialing are fax features, as are remote retrieval, polling (retrieving faxes from another machine), and broadcasting (sending the same fax to multiple numbers; black-and-white faxes only). The gadget works with your phone company’s Caller ID service, displaying the number and, if available, the name of the person calling or faxing you. The MFC-3220C is compatible with both Windows and Apple systems (see technical specifications for restrictions of each), and it connects to your computer via a simple USB interface (cable not included). It also has a 100-sheet paper tray and a 50-sheet output tray for letter-sized documents. This sheet-fed multifunction device contains a color printer, fax (14.4Kbps), copier, scanner, and PC Faxing. It has high-speed inkjet printing at speeds of up to 14ppm mono and 12ppm color, as well as photo-quality printing resolutions of up to 4800 x 1200 optimum dpi printing for excellent color output. There is no need for a PC for faxing and copying. The 8MB dual access memory can hold up to 200 pages of faxes, allowing them to be scanned in while sending or receiving. It has a paper capacity of 100 sheets, a 20-page ADF, a USB 2.0 interface, and scanning resolutions of up to 2400 dpi (interpolated). Compatible with both Windows® and Macintosh® operating systems.
