Canon imagePROGRAF GP-2000 Manual (User Manual & Setup Guide)

The Canon imagePROGRAF GP-2000 is a large-format printer with ten colors and fluorescent pink. The 24-inch printer has Canon’s Radiant Infusion technology, which blends neon pink ink with other inks on the paper surface while printing, resulting in vivid and soft color reproduction. Built-in color calibration, sophisticated media handling, and USB flash drive printing are among the other features. This printer is perfect for enabling in-house production of large-format prints with enhanced appeal and visibility in a variety of industries, including retail, print for pay, entertainment, design offices, and advertising agencies. The GP-2000 comes with Canon’s PosterArtist Lite poster making software, which allows you to create posters in four simple stages using royalty-free photos and templates. The Radiant Infusion technology is built into the PosterArtist Lite software, allowing users to effortlessly design high-impact posters. Professional Print & Layout, Accounting Manager, and Device Management Console are additional program capabilities. Pantone licensed for “PANTONE PASTELS & NEONS GUIDE Coated,” which covers fluorescent and pastel hues, as “PANTONE Calibrated.” The built-in color calibration function reads color density with a multi-sensor and calibrates the printer so that the last print looks exactly like the first. It is capable of loading and recognizing paper without the need for human involvement. Simply insert the roll holder into the printer and allow the media to feed into the printer automatically. The built-in multi-sensor recognizes the width, length, and type of media automatically. The optional MultiFunction Roll System, which also makes use of Canon’s innovative intelligent media handling, is a versatile media handling system that allows for the loading of a second roll of media on the printer or the unit to be set as a bi-directional media take-up unit. The dual-roll feeding mechanism allows users to add a second roll of a different media type and size, allowing them to transition from printing on matte to glossy paper without pausing to reload. Furthermore, by allowing two rolls of the same media to be supplied to the printer, the second roll can be used to facilitate high-volume printing. The operator can also configure the GP-2000 MultiFunction Roll System as a take-up unit to rewind lengthier printouts. The user can rewind media with the printed surface on the outside or inside of the roll, allowing for bi-directional rewinding.
