This printer’s Gloss Ink Edition uses Gloss Black Ink, which is capable of printing on a larger range of surfaces with varying finishes such as glossy, matte, plain, and more. This printer’s Matte Ink Edition employs Matte Black Ink, which produces deeper, sharper black text and images when printed on matte, textured, or plain material exclusively. The gloss and matte versions use the same color ink cartridges, and have been BS5609 certified.
