The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-8090 printer is a monster, a color inkjet designed to compete with color lasers. It essentially succeeds in this regard, with blistering speed and cheap operating expenses. Epson touts the WF-8090 as a heavy-duty workgroup printer that can print on tabloid-size and bigger paper (up to 13 by 19 inches). The main disadvantage we discovered during testing is that the output quality is subpar, but it is still adequate for most internal business uses. If you don’t need your color laser printer to print professional-looking reports or marketing brochures, it’s absolutely worth considering.
